Cycling Glossary - Word of the Day

automatic transmission
A bicycle drivetrain that shifts gears on its own. Ideally, it shifts into the gear needed, too.

Andy's Daily Tip

Protect The Upholstery - If you transport your bikes inside your vehicle, keep in mind that the chainrings are sharp and the chain is often greasy. To protect your Corinthian Leather seats from tears and grease tattoos, cover them with an old blanket or large piece of cardboard. If space is tight, consider removing both wheels so that the bike takes up as little space as possible. Rest the bike on its left side, too, to prevent derailleur damage.
