Boostinator kits allow non-boost wheels to be mounted in Boost spacing frames and forks. While incremental, the benefits of the "Boost" 15x110mm front and 12x148mm rear axle standards are clear: better clearance for fatter tires & rims and reduced dish for stiffer, stronger wheels. The big bummer? Taking full advantage requires not only a new frame and fork, but new wheels as well. In response, we have developed the Boostinator. When paired with compatible 15x100mm or 12x142mm hubs, Boostinator kits allow existing wheels to be mounted in Boost-standard frames and forks. Disc and drivetrain positions are maintained and, thanks to a quick re-dish, spoke bracing angles are improved. Boostinator kits consist of a specially-designed axle end cap and, in the case of rear kits, a precision-machined rotor spacer with a set of six high-strength bolts. In keeping with Boost specifications, the disc and cassette are shifted outboard, allowing brakes and derailleurs to function as designed. Compatibility: - Front boostinators are only an endcap and do not require a rotor spacer. Why We Made It Enduro runs on two things – Confidence and Control. Nothing ruins a good shred fest like a flat tire or broken rim, and nothing spooks you on a dusty trail like an unexpected drift. With this in mind, we have been hard at work over the past 2 years to develop a carbon wheel system that will allow ourselves, athletes, and most importantly – you – to go "full-send" without compromising the ride experience by running high tire pressures, DH tires, and heavy pinch flat reduction inserts. Building upon the platform of the M7 Series' predecessor the M70, we re-profiled the rim to mate up with modern tires and to absorb trail vibrations and chatter. However, just fitting tires is not enough. We know that riders also want the freedom to run lower pressure and that doing so can introduce flat tires and damaged rims. The ENVE solution is a new rim shape paired with ENVE's patent-pending, energy-absorbing Protective Rim Strip. With this technology, riders can skip the inserts and run the tires and pressures they want. Amazingly, we've managed to keep the weight neutral and improve impact resistance too.

The DH-UR700-3D Dynamo hub employs a new internal unit construction that is lighter and also reduces dynamo drag while producing 3 watts. Origin-8's Pro Pulsion Rim Strips are made from a super-durable, environmentally friendly PVC material.

Package comes with two pieces of rim tape for use with the Zipp clinchers. Woven nylon material. Tape is extra thin with a thickness of 0.5 mm. Note: For Zipp 700c and 650c aluminum/carbon hybrid clichers, use the 16 mm rim tape. For Zipp 30 wheel set use 18mm but for the wider Firecrest and Firestrike carbon clinchers use the 20mm x 1/2mm rim tape.

WHY WE MAKE THIS Originally, we made this hub to be the cornerstone of our hub product line. It was one of those product releases where we put all our hub and bearing experience into, and ended up with a hub that struck that perfect balance between weight, performance, durability and looks. Since the advent of disc brakes (and the R45D), we keep making it, because it’s still that cornerstone hub, and so many of our riders still love to rock their rim brakes on road and off. WHY YOU WANT IT The R45 front hub is lighter and more aerodynamic than most built-to-last hubs on the market. We use a narrow hub body and low flanges to make the R45 a rock solid starting point for any fast wheel build. Our bearings, both steel and ceramic, have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races that are machined simultaneously to ensure perfect matching. The quality and speed of our bearings is what you will feel (and hear) on every ride. As Chris King bearing tracks burnish they get actually get faster. A simple solution for completing the Zipp aerodynamic package by covering the valve access hole on most disc wheels. Black, self-adhesive oval patches with the Z logo, in a package of five.
